Prayers for Rain, Dennis Lehane - Ahhh, sweet killer bliss! I'm so sad that Prayers is the last book in the Kenzie/Gennaro private investigator series. I enjoyed these books immensely. I don't think I will find an author that compares to Lehane any time soon! Basically, Patrick Kenzie can't understand why his former client jumped to her death without warning. One day she was this perky, preppy woman and the next day she was splattered on the sidewalk. Kenzie enters a world of twisted mind games and deception as he hunts down a killer so clever, he can drive you to suicide by discovering your deepest fears and using them against you.
